posted 06/30/2009 Today is the last day to sign up for 2009 Aspetuck Cheerleading. The website for regisration will still be active (we cant separate cheer and football), but understand cheer registration closes today.
Football fees go up $25 July 1st. Register online for cheer or football today, mail your check today - must have a June 30th postmark, or else your fees increase by $25.
Registration for football and cheer is going very well in 2009. We have already surpassed our 2008 registration numbers, and are excited to have many new families joining our program !! Looks to be an exciting 2009 cheer and football season !!

posted 06/28/2009 Coach Miller is supplying equipment to the kids signed up for Coach Lato's Football camp beginning today thru this Wednesday June 1st. He will be at the Weston High School turf football fields today from 4-7pm and this mon, tues and wed from 5:30 -7:30. If you werent able to get your football equipment this past weekend, and can meet Coach Miller at Weston HIgh during these times, he will be available. This is a place to pick up equipment only, do not take Coach Miller your registration paperwork to hand in -- and you must have paid for the 2009 season prior to picking up your equipment. Its a great opportunity to pick up your football gear if it works in your schedule.

posted 06/26/2009 hello Wildcat families, a few important reminders:
1. You have to register your participant online. We communicate via email, unless you sign up online you will not receive communications. You still have to fill out all paperwork and submit to the addresses for either cheer or football. Enter your email address when you sign your participant up online, or else you wont get information from the Wildcats.
2. Dont forget to have the dr. sign and date the consent form, dont forget parents to sign/date consent form. If these areas are not filled out complete, we have to get paperwork back to you and it creates alot more work and mangement of paper.
3. We have our first football equipment pick up tomorrow at Branchville Storage, Ridgfield, from 9-12. Try to be on time, and come by 11:30 for equipment. We would like to be repacking the storage units and going home shortly after noon. Its alot of work to hand this equipment out, unload and reload the storage unit, etc -- please be considerate and be on time. If you have any good used "stuff" for football you can bring it tomorrow and we will recycle to other players (practice pants, etc)
4. You wont get equipment if you havent paid. I wil be there to collect paperwork, checks. We dont have a credit card machine, thats an online only transaction. Bring a check if you want to pay for the 2009 season.
5. Joe Lato, Weston High School head football coach, will be on hand to answer any questions about the football camp starting Sunday.
6. Registration closes for cheer June 30th.
7. Registration fees go up $25.00 after June 30th.

On Monday, June 29th at 7:30pm we will be holding a general football coaches meeting at Bogey's Tap room in Wesport CT. If you are interested in assisting a team this year, please come to the meeting.
Also, a reminder that tomorrow (Saturday) we will be handing out football equipment for the upcoming year at the Branchville storage facility, 70 West Branchville Road, Ridgefield, from 9am – 12 noon. Please come and pick-up your equipment then. Coach Lato , Weston High School Football coach, will also be there to answer any questions about his upcoming football camp and collect any forms outstanding. We will also have available a sheet to order a wildcat t-shirt & shorts set for $20.00. All orders will placed in July with merchandise delivery the first day of practice on August 3rd. If you would like to help handout equipment or check-off kids that receive their equipment, please contact Laura Nichols. This opportunity clearly counts toward volunteer hours in 2009. Also, if you have any registration paperwork to hand in, you can do so then as well. You have to pay your registration fee prior to picking up any equipment, if you havent paid you cannot pick up equipment.

Register now for the 4th Annual Trojan Football Camp,
from 4pm-7pm Sunday, June 28 through Wednesday, July 1, at Weston Stadium Field.
This is a FULL CONTACT, fundamentally based program emphasizing individual instruction and group work. Repetitive drill work and game-like scenarios will be used to stress the techniques that are required for your son to play Football at the highest level. Instructors include Weston High School Varsity Head Football Coach Joe Lato, assistant coaches, current Trojans, and guest coaches from Joel Barlow, Masuk and Maloney High Schools.
