Meet the Players Picnic

Please join the Aspetuck Wildcats players and coaches at a a picnic at the Redding Boys and Girls Club.

The date is Saturday, June 15th.

The time is 2 - 8 pm.

This is a great opportunity to meet current players and coaches.

Aspetuck Wildcats Football Player of the Week

Jack joined the Wildcats for his 1st season in August of 2012 after many years of begging his parents to play football. He played offensive guard and defensive tackle. He made many great plays on both sides of the ball and even had a chance to score his first touchdown. He put a lot of hard work in at practice and in turn developed a lot of great new friendships and camaraderie with his new teammates.

Jack’s nickname is the “Ware- wolf” and has carried on through wrestling and basketball. Although he is in Lacrosse season now his true passion is football and he cannot wait until August!

He is a superb, hard working athlete who always gives 150 percent! He is an easy athlete to coach and he is a great kid both off and on the field. Congratulations to Jack and welcome to the Aspetuck family.

Aspetuck Cheerleader Spotlight

Congratulations to Giavanna Bravo-Ibanez! She is the Aspetuck Wildcats Cheerleader of the Week.

Aspetuck Cheer certainly contributed to the aspirations of Giavanna Bravo- Ibanez. She began Aspetuck in 2013 and instantly loved her coaches and teammates, she developed a passion for Cheer and her enthusiasm is readily seen with her giant smile and dimples that are characteristic of Giavanna. Her team made it to Regionals and she can't wait to start up again in August.

When the season finished last November, Giavanna decided to join the Champion All Star Gym and is on the Disco Stars team. She has been has been training and competing all over the Northeast and on May 11th the Disco Stars will be headed to the American Cheer Power competition in Hershey Park, PA. We wish her team the best of luck.

She finds cheer exciting, challenging and great fun. Giavanna can't wait for the Aspetuck Season to begin and will always be grateful to the great coaches and student demonstrators who inspired and motivated her throughout the season.

Aspetuck Wildcat Board Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month. They start at 7:30 pm at the Redding Road House.
